Quinta da Devesa was included in the first map of the Douro Demarcated Region in 1844. Acquired by the Fortunato family in 1941, it has remained their independent family company, dedicated to the production of port wine. The vineyards and winery Baixo Corgo overlook the confluence of the rivers Douro and Corgo. Vineyard elevation is up to 500m and farmed with minimum intervention. Only vintages of superior quality stored in wooden barrels in their estate cellars are used for their port wines.

2022 Douro Rosé
Produced from Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz grape varieties, this presents a clean nose, with berry notes and a hint of forest fruits. The palate is balanced and smooth, with a very pleasant finish.
2020 Douro Red
A medium bodied red wine with flavours of red and black currant, dried blackberry, with just a hint of liquorice and tobacco. Easy drinking enough on its own, it would be delicious with cured meats and sharp cheeses, grilled beef, or lamb meatballs.
2019 Reserva, Douro Red
The nose is aromatic, concentrated and powerful. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and light notes of liquorice, nicely combined with notes of blackberry, small berries and notes of flowers, olive, local vegetation, mocha, Ceylon tea and Sichuan pepper. On the palate it is fruity, balanced, juicy and somewhat minerally. The tannins are firm, which guarantees good aging.
